Man arrested for February shooting death

“On February 18, 2022, at approximately 12:49 p.m., Vallejo Police Officers responded to the report of a shooting in the 100 Block of Olympic Drive.
Upon arrival, officers located a solo-vehicle accident. An adult male victim (the driver) suffered from at least one gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by medical personnel. Preliminary details indicate that the victim was driving on Olympic Drive when he was shot by an unknown suspect(s) just prior to the accident.
On February 21, 2022, the Vallejo Police Department arrested 18-year-old KAULANA AALONA on an arrest warrant in connection with this homicide. AALONA, a Vallejo resident, was booked for murder into the Solano County jail.
