“Today Officers received multiple citizen phone calls regarding an erratic subject committing various crimes throughout the City of Napa.

The subject appeared under the influence, tampered with a vehicle and stole a generator, which he threw down a manhole.

The subject was contacted in the area of Jefferson Street and Pueblo Avenue. He immediately refused various commands and became combative with Officers.

While attempting to arrest the subject, multiple Officers sustained minor to moderate injuries. The subject was arrested and later found to be on an Own Recognizance agreement for False Imprisonment and resisting arrest.

The Officers and subject were later treated for injuries sustained. Thank you to the alert community members who reported the suspicious activity and helped Officers locate the subject.”
