“On March 5th, 2021, members of the Ventura Police Department SCU Narcotics unit conducted a search warrant at the above address due to an investigation into narcotics sales. Detectives using investigative tools were able to identify a primary suspect as David Moreno.
During the execution of the search warrant and the subsequent investigation, detectives recovered narcotics, evidence of narcotics sales, and a loaded firearm inside Moreno’s residence.
As a result of the investigation, David Moreno was arrested for a felon in possession of a firearm, ammunition, and possession of methamphetamines.
Nathan Scheibelhut was arrested for transportation and possession of methamphetamines for sales.
A search of the Ventura County Superior Court’s shows that David Moreno has prior arrests for robbery, narcotics sales, and street terrorism. Nathan Scheibelhut was prior arrests for vehicle theft, possession of narcotics for sales, and under the influence of a controlled substance.”
