The Vacaville Police Department arrested a man for driving a stolen vehicle –

“On Thursday night, shortly before midnight, Officers were out patrolling the streets when a keen-eyed officer saw a White F-350 near Alamo Drive and Butcher Road. Turns out the officer was on to something as he quickly found out the truck had been reported stolen!!

Officers conducted a traffic stop and thankfully, 39 year-old Ismael Diaz-Flores (from San Francisco), complied. Ismael yielded to the right side of the road, listened to instructions, and was safely taken into custody. Ismael was booked into Solano County Jail for charges related to possession of a stolen vehicle.

We truly appreciate the cooperation from our community as we all power through these trying times. Thank you for doing your part by staying home, and rest assured in knowing your Vacaville Police Department will continue working hard to ensure our city remains a safe place to live. Stay healthy!!”
