Kern County deputies find $40K in stolen electronics; suspect arrested

BAKERSFIELD — A 25-year-old man has been arrested after deputies uncovered a trove of stolen electronics.

At around 10:20 AM on Friday, August 23rd, Kern County deputies served search warrants at a motel room on the 300 block of Oak Street and a home on the 100 block of Jefferson Street, ultimately recovering around $40,000 in electronics stolen from Jordan Home Furniture.

Deputies also found $1,300 in cash accrued from sales of stolen property.

Ricardo Estrada was identified as a suspect in the case and has been booked on charges of possession of stolen property, conspiracy, and second degree burglary.
