STOCKTON – On Friday April 26th a homicide occurred in the 400 block of Delhi Avenue in the city of Stockton. The victim was a man in his 20’s who sustained gunshot wounds and later tied after being transported to the hospital. No arrest was made at the time, however authorities eventually identified 33 year old Jose Omar Flores of Stockton as a suspect.

On Saturday May 18th, SPD officers observed Flores in the area of  Street and I-5 and made contact with him.  After a brief foot pursuit, the Flores was placed under arrest.

Flores was booked into custody on a murder charge, but SPD says  “the case still remains active.”

Part of the Stockton Police Department press release says, “If you have any information that may lead to an arrest, call Crime Stoppers at (209) 946-0600. Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards up to $10,000.”
