FOLSOM – On Wednesday, the Folsom Police Department recovered a large cache of stolen property from a Roseville area home. The items recovered include 5 handguns, 2 rifles, an illegal assault rifle, and several electronic devices.

The recovery took place on January 23rd when a search warrant was served at a home in the 1100 block of Salmon Drive in Roseville.

Officers were investigating a burglary that had occurred in Folsom on December 21st 2018.  Police also recovered firearms stolen during a December 2017 Folsom burglary.

33-year-old Nha Dao  was arrested and now faces charges of with possession of an assault weapon, possession of a firearm by a felon, and child endangerment.

The investigation included the use of surveillance cameras, credit card records, email, and internet address records.

The FPD also says that “detectives are following up to determine if Dao is responsible for any additional burglaries.
