Police asking for public’s help in identifying two shooting suspects

SAN JOSE – The San Jose Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying two suspects responsible for the killing of a man at El Rancho Liquors on Almaden Road in San Jose.

According to police, 34-year-old Nathan Johnson-Harper was at the convenience store when two suspects approached him and started to argue with him. Then one suspect drew a handgun and fired at the victim. Harper was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

The first suspect, in this case, is being described as a Hispanic male adult in his 20s with a medium build.  It appears he has curly medium length hair with a mustache and goatee. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black t-shirt, and light blue jeans.

The second suspect, in this case, is being described as an African American male adult in his 20s with a slender build.  He was last seen wearing a knit cap, black hoodie, and white gym pants.
