Search Warrant On Illegal Marijuana Grow Nabs Nearly 4,600 Pot Plants In Nine Units

SAN BERNARDINO – A 15-unit business complex was paid an official visit by the San Bernardino Police Department at 11:00 AM on December 10th, when the San Bernardino PD served a search warrant at 393 West Athol.

Nine out the 15 commercial row-units at the location were found to be operating an illegal marijuana grow.

Nearly 4,600 pot plants were seized by SBPD Officers, and one arrest was made. Due to the ongoing investigation, the name of the suspect remains anonymous for now.

As a result, “The nine units were red-tagged by the building inspector,” said SBPD Community Engagement Officer Eileen Hards.

Safety issues will be addressed and code enforcement will follow up with the property owner to resolve issues.

San Bernardino PD Investigators are handling the ongoing investigation.
