Homicide investigation identifies Turlock man as shooting suspect

TURLOCK // Detectives with the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department have arrested 44-year-old Thaddius Pace in conjunction with a homicide investigation which began in October of last year.

On October 21st at around 9:15 PM, deputies were sent to the 200 block of I Street after 59-year-old Rudy Yvanes was found shot to death in the front yard of a home on the block.

Sheriff’s Deputies responded quickly and, after processing the crime scene and interviewing witnesses, were able to identify Pace as a suspect. On the morning of January 17th, detectives and SWAT officials served a search warrant at a home on the 100 block of G Street, where Pace was taken into custody.

He has been booked into the Stanislaus County Jail for murder.
