113 Years to Life for Killing Ex-Girlfriend

PACOIMA — For all intents and purposes, 48-year-old Michael Jerome Parks (aka “Chicken Mike” and “Michael McTizic”)  will spend the rest of his life in prison for killing his ex-girlfriend.

On September 7, 2016, Parks strangled, stabbed, and shot 33-year-old G’Teasha Elayne Fisher.  He had convinced her to meet him at her uncle’s home after they had broken up, where he then committed the crime.

He then fled to Las Vegas, but was arrested the next day.

On June 20, Parks was found guilty of one count of murder. He was sentenced on Monday to 113 years to life in prison.

He has been convicted of felonies dating back to 1985, for robbery, possession of cocaine base for sale, and assault with a firearm.
