El Dorado County Sheriff Seeks Suspect in Credit Card Theft
EL DORADO COUNTY — The Sheriff’s Department is looking for a suspect who’s been caught on surveillance photos using stolen credit cards.
The cards were apparently recently stolen from a car parked at the Sweet Waiter Creek Trailhead in El Dorado Hills.
The suspect, who’s since been identified as 30-year-old Michael Sterba (pictured above), lives in Sacramento County but is said to have various ties to El Dorado County.
Sterba also has a felony warrant out of El Dorado County and a misdemeanor warrant out of Sacramento County to his name.
