WILLOW CREEK — This past Wednesday, February 15th, the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office was alerted to the whereabouts fo one Joshua Wentworth (28), a wanted fugitive on the hook for three misdemeanor warrants for resisting arrest, driving on a suspended license, and possession of a Billy club.

Just after 10 AM, deputies from the HCSO Trinity River Division, along with CHP officers, arrived at a motel on the 39000 block of State Highway 299 where Wentworth was reportedly staying with his girlfriend, Tamara Conley — also a wanted fugitive.

Due to Wentworth’s status as armed and dangerous, authorities established a perimeter and called for Wentworth to surrender.

Both subjects stepped out and were taken into custody without incident.

Wentworth is now housed at the Humboldt County Correctional Facility.

Based on the official Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office press release.
