HOLLISTER — The notorious pharmacy bandit has struck again. According to Hollister Police, this is the 4th such robbery since August 29th and took place at the Lucky’s Supermarket pharmacy on McCray Street on the morning of Friday, February 3.

That morning, police responded to a report of a robbery that had occurred at the supermarket. They were told on scene that an unknown man walked up to the pharmacy counter brandishing a firearm and demanded pharmaceuticals.

The suspect fled with an unknown amount of pills. No one was injured.

As noted, this is the fourth in a series of robberies which have occurred under similar methods. The first happened in August at the Rite-Aid Pharmacy, with the third and fourth both happening at the same pharmacy in November and December.

In each case, the suspect(s) walked into the pharmacies just after opening and demanded medications at gunpoint. CCTV footage shows that the suspects shielded their faces with either a helmet, bandana, or hooded sweatshirt.

The suspect(s) have yet to be identified or apprehended. Police are asking that anyone who may recognize the suspects and/or suspicious individuals contact the department at 831-638-4115.
