LOS ANGELES – His name is DeAndre Cortez Way, but his fans know him as “Soulja Boy.” If he is convicted of the charges against him, he may add a prison ID as another moniker.

Charges were filed today against Way for illegally possessing firearms. The incident occurred on December 15 when he has arrested at his house after police discovered the firearms. One of them was reported stolen from a Huntington Beach police vehicle.
Other weapons included a Glock 21 handgun, a Glock 21 .45 caliber gun and a Mini Draco AR-15.
The 26-year-old Way could face more than four years in state prison if he is convicted of these charges.
