Five Arrested in Big Drug Bust

Early Wednesday morning at around 2:50 a.m. officers heard reports about a stolen vehicle in the 1500 block of South Main Street in Porterville. When officers arrived, they found one of the suspects with a stolen 1994 Yamaha Y-Z-250. The suspect was identified as Billy Blount.

After investigating Blount and the stolen car, officers managed to locate Blount’s residence

Police obtained a search warrant on the residence and found numerous items and drugs. The items that were discovered were a stolen motorcycle frame, eight firearms, one stolen firearm, and methamphetamine, along with a paraphernalia linked to the sale of methamphetamine.

Along with Blount, several other suspect were found inside the residence and were identified as Samuel Roberts, 28, Gary Gray, 36, Nancy Fleetwood, 37, Krystine Paul, 26. There was also a 1-year-old child with them.

Authorities also discovered Roberts had a stolen vehicle as well, located  on the 200 block of North Roche Street. When officers arrived, they in fact found two more stolen vehicles.

Blount, Roberts, Gray, Fleetwood, and Paul were all booked into the Tulare County Jail for being under the influence of drugs, said the reports.

Blount was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a stolen firearm, a disorderly residence, and possession of a firearm while being under the influence of an illegal substance. He is being held in lieu of a $100,000 bail.

Roberts was charged with a stolen vehicle and is being held in lieu of a $25,000 bail.

Gray had two warrants for his arrest and is being held on bail for $25,233.

Fleetwood was charged for possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a disorderly residence, possession of a firearm while under the influence of an illegal substance, felon in possession of a firearm, felon in possession of ammunition, violation of probation and has two confirmed warrants for her arrest. She is being held on a $125,000 bail.

Paul was cited for being on under the influence of an illegal substance.

According to records, Blount, Roberts, and Fleetwood all have had multiple arrests in the past with similar charges.
