Deputies Arrest Four After Fight at Internet Cafe

BAKERSFIELD — Four people were arrested at a local internet cafe on Thursday afternoon, after police were called to break up a fight.

Micah Patterson, 19, and 23-year-old Benjamin Patterson were booked into the Kern County Jail, along with 36-year-old Anthony Grijalva, and 30-year old, Angelica Lomeli.

According to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office, the altercation between the Patterson’s, which took place at around 2 p.m. on March 5, at the Fun Zone Internet Café on Morning Drive in Bakersfield, was related to a burglary that had occurred earlier in the day.

While at the café, deputies also made contact with Grijalva, who is on active post release community supervision and was found to be in possession of two ounces of methamphetamine and a substantial amount of cash

Meanwhile, Lomeli, who was also at the business during the fight, was found to be in possession of approximately three grams of methamphetamine is being charged of possession of a controlled substance.

Grijalva has been booked on charges of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of sales and participation in a criminal street gang, while Benjamin Patterson is being held on charges of residential burglary and possession of stolen property, and Micah Patterson for possession of prescription medication without a prescription.
