Fourth Suspect Arrested in Attempted Homicide and Home Invasion Case

TULARE – Nearly a year after a home-invasion robbery in a foothills community, a fourth suspect was arrested. The Tulare County Sheriff’s Department arrested 24-year-old Enrique Carrizales over the weekend for his alleged involvement with a home invasion that took place on Feb. 26, 2013 in Badger.

A victim in the home was shot several times during the home invasion. While en-route to the call, deputies saw two vehicles fleeing from the scene of the crime and were able to stop one vehicle. The two men inside the vehicle – Michael Serna and Juventino Rosas of Dinuba – were taken into custody.

The second vehicle did not stop for the deputies and eventually crashed in the Yettem area. Thomas Cuadros of Reedley was then taken into custody.

During the investigation, deputies identified Carrizales and Sonny Delgado as possible suspects. Carrizales remained on the loose until deputies received an anonymous tip through the sheriff’s Tip Now program. Following the tip, the department contacted police in Kent, Wash., who arrested Carrizales on a warrant.

Delgado is still wanted in connection with the investigation.
