Tip Leads to the Arrest of Car Burglary Suspect

An Oakland man suspected of breaking into a car in San Leandro Wednesday morning, was arrested after an alert citizen spotted him and called police.

Around 11:30 a.m., an alert resident observed Jason Nora, 26, rummaging through parked car in the parking lot of 1400 Carpentier Street, according to San Leandro Police.

The resident did not recognize the Nora and he suspected the vehicle did not belong to him. The citizen immediately called 911 and reported his observations to SLPD’s dispatch center, SLPD reported.
