Wigged Robber Sticks up SLO Chase

San Luis Obispo police are looking for a man who held up Chase Bank on Saturday.

According to SLOPD, they received a call around 2:25 p.m. saying the Chase Bank at 445 Madonna Road was just robbed.

The suspect was described as a Caucasian male in his late 20s to early 30s. He was wearing a long sleeve shirt, a mesh baseball hat, sunglasses, and a thick wig.

Police say the suspect approached the teller and passed a note indicating he had a weapon and was demanding money.

The suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of cash from the drawer and left the bank on foot.

Witnesses say no weapon was actually seen and no vehicle was noticed.

The case is being jointly investigated by the San Luis Obispo Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Police are waiting for the bank’s video surveillance to release a photo of the suspect.
