Rebekah Cyr

The Sacramento Police Department (SPD) has arrested Rebekah Cyr, 33, who has been investigated for inappropriate conduct with a minor, according to an official press release. Ms. Cyr is a teacher at Inderkum High School in the Natomas Unified School District in northern Sacramento. Media reports have listed her as both an English and a Drama teacher.

On September 12, 2012, the SPD reportedly began an investigation into the allegations of inappropriate conduct from Cyr towards a 17-year-old male student. The allegations were that Cyr had made inappropriate advances and communication with the victim. Sex Assaults and Child Abuse Investigators (SACA) were assigned to the case.

On October 10, 2012, the findings of the investigation were reportedly forwarded to the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office and two misdemeanor warrants were issued for her arrest.
