On September 11, 2012, at 9:45pm, patrol officers reportedly received information that Nasim was in search of someone to kill his wife. Homicide and undercover detectives were called in to conduct an investigation.

A meeting was reportedly set up between an undercover detective and Nasim to discuss the specifics of how and when Nasim wanted his wife killed. During the meeting, Nasim reportedly told the undercover detective that he wanted to kill his wife immediately in exchange for money. After discussing terms of the agreement, Nasim paid the detective to kill his wife and was arrested shortly thereafter.

On Friday, police revealed that Nasim’s wife, the potential victim of his murder scheme, is pregnant.

The SPD urges anyone with information on this crime to contact Crime Alert at 916-443-HELP (4357).
