Child molester sentenced to state prison

An Oceano man is headed to state prison for sex crimes against three South County girls.

Robert Palomo is headed for prison

Robert Palomo, 30, who was found guilty of molestation charges, will serve 60 years to life.

The victims were between the ages of 5 and 10 at the time of the molestations, which occurred between 2007 and 2010.

According to police, Palomo committed these crimes in Grover Beach and in areas around Oceano, It was reported Palomo knew each of the children and was even related to one of them. Police say he was in a position to supervise each of the children which allowed him access and opportunity to commit the crimes.
