Alleged stabber faces attempted murder charges

TOMALES — A Marin County man likely faces attempted murder charges following an alleged knife attack on his girlfriend.

Alfredo Sanchez, 30, of Tomales was arrested after his alleged victim sustained moderate injuries from the reported Oct. 29 incident at the couple’s shared residence.

She is expected to recover and he was being held in at the Marin County Jail at press time in lieu of $500,000 bail.
