Two Suspects Arrested for May Home Invasion Robbery in Clovis

CLOVIS – Two men were arrested this week in connection to a home invasion robbery that happened earlier this year in Clovis.

The incident happened on May 5 on Shirley Avenue when two men entered the home around 4:30 p.m. One of the men was armed with a gun. The two men used a dog leash and a computer cable to tie up two of the three residents. The victims were not hurt and were able to free themselves after the men left the home, police said.

Detectives believe that James Xiong, 27, and Chue Fue Yang, 25, are the suspects responsible for the home invasion robbery. Xiong was tracked down in Grover Beach on Tuesday night and Yang was arrested in Clovis on Wednesday morning.

Some of the property taken from the victim’s home was found at Xiong’s Grover Beach apartment, according to authorities.

The suspects were booked into the Fresno County Jail.
