Brian Lee Feld Getz, 36, of Grass Valley was reportedly arrested on Friday, October 10 at a post office in Folsom. And Timothy Conway Reimer, 33, of Philadelphia, PA, was arrested the same day at a searched property in Grass Valley. Both men are reportedly in custody at the Placer County Jail on suspicion of possessing and selling marijuana, and conspiracy.

According to Roseville PD, about a month ago Roseville Vice and Narcotics Enforcement (VNET) detectives began investigating a shipment of marijuana from Roseville. Detectives reportedly uncovered a scheme where suspects acquired marijuana from the local region, processed and packaged it, and then shipped it from post office facilities in Roseville and other local communities to Pennsylvania and New Jersey. One of the suspects then reportedly flew to the East Coast to receive the packages, and presumably sold them. The cash received from the sale of the drugs was then shipped back to the suspect.

Detectives found plenty of processed marijuana and a lot of cash, along with other evidence.

On Friday, October 10, Roseville PD detectives worked in collaboration with the U.S. Postal Inspection Service and Homeland Security Investigation’s Customs and Border Protection Air Unit to issue search warrants on two properties in the Grass Valley and Nevada City areas. During the search, detectives reportedly found marijuana processing facilities, a butane-fueled hashish manufacturing lab, vacuum-sealed packages of processed marijuana, large amounts of currency, a handgun, and approximately 2 pounds of psilocybin mushrooms. During the operation, detectives confiscated approximately 141 pounds of packaged marijuana and $221,000 in cash.

According to Roseville PD, the investigation is continuing and additional arrests are likely.
