Strip Club Intruder Shot by Worker

SACRAMENTO—A man was shot and seriously injured at a local strip club early Wednesday morning after a worker at the club responded to a burglar alarm and found the intruder inside the building.

The shooting occurred on Wednesday, July 22 at approximately 5:00 a.m. at Club Fantasy, located at 851 Richards Blvd. The worked received a call from the business’s alarm company. When he arrived at the club to check things out, he was confronted by the intruder—a man in his 20s—and shot the man in the upper torso. The wounded man was taken to a nearby hospital and is reported to be in critical condition.

A section of Richards Boulevard in Sacramento was shut down for several hours Wednesday morning as police investigated the incident.

On its website, Club Fantasy calls itself “the top gentlemen’s club in the city of Sacramento for 15 years” and is home to the  “hottest, exotic, erotic ladies in the Capitol City.”
