Spring Valley Bank Robbery

The San Diego Sheriff’s Department are looking for help in identifying the suspect that robbed a bank in Spring Valley, CA.

The robbery occurred on Wednesday, July 30, at the US Bank located inside of Albertsons Supermarket on the 9800 block of Campo Road.

According to the report, the suspect demanded the teller to hand the money over. The suspect was making threats, saying that he was going to shoot the teller in the head. Then he placed a plastic bag that had an unknown solid object, as if to prove that he was not messing around, convincing the teller to give him as much money as he wanted. He received an undisclosed amount of money and left the store right after.

There are a few surveillance photos of the robber, and detectives are hoping people may help identify him.

If anyone recognizes the suspect, they should call the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at (888) 580-8477. A reward of up to $1,000 will be given to the person who identifies or provides any information about the suspect.
