San Luis Obispo Local Busted for Possession, Drug Sales

The San Luis Obispo Sheriff’s Office has a man in custody for allegedly possessing drugs for sale.

SLO Sheriff’s deputies discovered a large amount of narcotics hidden in a storage unit while investigating an unrelated incident last Thursday at a residence located on the 3000 block of Creston Road.

Around 4:15 p.m., deputies found one-and-a-half pounds of methamphetamine that was divided into 11 individual plastic bags, which were packaged for sale.

Deputies also discovered two bricks of a substance that investigators believed to be methamphetamine. In total around four-and-a-half pounds were seized. The substance was sent to the lab for analysis. Also in the storage unit, deputies discovered four plastic bags containing a total of 7.1 ounces of black tar heroin.

Investigators say the street value of the drugs is around $27,000. Detectives with the Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit arrested Chad Lee Fowler, 34, of Paso Robles.
