Roseville PD Bust 2 Suspects Found With Stolen Identity Documents

Officers from the Roseville Police Department reportedly arrested two Auburn residents after finding other people’s identity documents — such as banks cards and tax documents — in their hotel room, according to an official weekly crime report.

Adam Robert Duncan, 33, and Natasha Wolfert, 27 — both of Auburn — were reportedly arrested on suspicion of possessing stolen property, burglar’s tools, drug paraphernalia, and other related charges.

According to Roseville PD, on Monday, October 6, at 1:30 pm, an officer made a traffic stop near Estates Drive and Harding Boulevard. The driver was reportedly on probation and in possession of illegal switchblade knives and a methamphetamine smoking pipe.

Officers then searched the probationer’s hotel room on Harding Boulevard, where they reportedly found marijuana, burglar’s tools, bank cards, checkbooks and tax documents belonging to other people, as well as materials used to manufacture ID cards.

The same couple appeared on a Rocklin Police report from May of this year as well. They were captured when police responded to a commercial burglary, and detained while police searched their silver Infinity. A stolen Glock handgun, 15 grams of methamphetamine, a digital scale and $760 in cash were found. A month later, on June 20, Wolfert was charged with hit and run causing property damage. She was also charged in March with possession of a controlled substance, conspiracy, and forgery.

Prior to this year, according to records, Wolfert has been charged multiple times, mostly for possession of controlled substances, paraphernalia, sales and transportation, and even bringing it into a prison. In 2006 she was also charged with burglary, and in 2005, when just 18, she was arrested for vandalism with three others, who were caught spray painting tags on a freeway under-crossing, and were also in possession of meth paraphernalia and brass knuckles.

Adam Duncan made the news in 2011 when he was driving an SUV on Highway 49 in Nevada County, California. While under the influence of drugs or alcohol, he collided with two pickup trucks, and then proceeded the wrong way and hit a minivan head on, resulting in major injuries to a woman and 6-year-old child. Duncan was also severely injured, and was airlifted to Sutter Hospital in Roseville. It is possible that the injuries he suffered in this incident led to his current status as disabled, as reported to police when asked to provide his occupation.
