Roseville PD Arrests 2 Home Burglary Suspects

Two men were reportedly arrested last week on suspicion of attempting to rob homes in a Roseville neighborhood, according to the Roseville Police Department’s weekly official crime report.

Robert Shawn Fallis, 42, transient, was reportedly arrested for attempted burglary, possession of burglar’s tools and conspiracy, and Walter L. Pogue, 49, of Rancho Cordova, was reportedly arrested on suspicion of possessing burglar’s tools and prowling on private property.

Pogue and Fallis were caught prowling in this Roseville neighborhood.

Pogue and Fallis were caught prowling in this Roseville neighborhood.

According to Roseville PD, on Wednesday, August 27 at 10:26 am, officers responded to a report of a man seen trying to remove a window screen from a home in the 900 block of Coloma Way. Neighbors also reportedly observed two men ringing doorbells and prowling around the area. Officers reportedly arrived on the scene and detained the two men.

While a records check found no previous arrests for Fallis, Walter Pogue seems to be a career burglary specialist. Over the past 7 years – since august of 2008, records show eleven arrests for Pogue. Most of them involve burglary, with the additional of grand theft, petty theft, robbery, possession of stolen property, taking a vehicle with the owners consent, and multiple probation violations. A consistent pattern shows that every time he is released, within the next few months he is caught again. His most recent arrest, however, was a year ago, in August 2013 for burglary.

The Roseville PD reminds residents to remember to call Roseville Crime Stoppers at 916-783-STOP with information about any crimes.
