On the evening of Thursday, March 26th at approximately 9:53 pm, officers received a call of suspicious activity, namely trespassers, at a storage facility.
According to information released by the department, the caller spotted the trespassers and was able to give a description of the suspects via a remote security camera feed. Officers entered the facility and proceeded to conduct a search. They found two people who matched the suspects’ descriptions.
A records check revealed that one of them, 23-year-old Damika Mark, was subject to a search condition as part of her active probation. Upon searching her person, officers found a BB gun, a concealed knife, and methamphetamine. In her purse, officers found that she was also in possession of ID cards and credit cards that belonged to at least six different people.
Ms. Mark was placed under arrest at Bayview station on multiple charges, including carrying a concealed weapon, possession of stolen property and violating her probation. She had been arrested in February for grand theft, possession of burglary tools, an unregistered vehicle, and other charges. She reported a residence in Antioch at that time, as she did when she was charged in November with robbery and conspiracy.
The other suspect was identified, investigated and released from the scene without charges.
