Police, Sheriff’s Deputies May Have Stopped Burglary Spree

LOMA LINDA – Two Rialto men arrested by sheriff’s deputies are suspected in a series of burglaries committed over a two-month span in Redlands and Loma Linda, officials said on Tuesday.

Drameco Kindle

Drameco Kindle, 38, and Almad Theoleous Lothyan, 23, were booked into Central Detention Center in San Bernardino on $250,000 bail, jail records showed. They were arrested after San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies were alerted to a possible burglary report on Monday and aided Redlands police in the investigation.

Deputies arrived at the 25000 block of Huron Street in Loma Linda after receiving reports from a resident who reported the suspects had knocked on the front door, and when there was no answer, deputies reported, Lothyan broke in through a bedroom window in the rear of the house. When the resident caught Lothyan in a bedroom, he fled.

Redlands police said witnesses saw two men burglarizing another home in Redlands on the same day. Both Redlands police and county deputies caught both men nearby, near the 700 block of Ardmore Avenue at approximately 12:30 p.m. on Monday. Police said residents spotted two men getting out of a dark SUV and began knocking on doors. When officers located the car, the hood was up and windows down. Soon after discovering the car, there was a report of a residential burglary at a nearby residence on Bermuda Street.

Almad Lothyan

While police were searching the area, Kindle returned to the vehicle. A short time later, investigators located Lothyan a few blocks away on Citrus Ave. and Central St.

When investigators searched the men’s homes in Rialto, more stolen property was discovered, linking both suspects to various burglaries. Police recovered all property taken in the Bermuda Street burglary. Sheriff’s deputies are trying to find the owners of stolen property taken in Loma Linda burglaries that started in late October.

Loma Linda and Redlands are neighboring communities located about 10 miles from Rialto.
