Police Looking for Man Robbing Female High School Students

FRESNO – Police are on the lookout for a man they say is connected to a series of robberies by men who are stealing backpacks and purses female students near Roosevelt High School.

Police have already arrested two men, identified as Anthony Eason and Ray Bacerra, in connection to the case. They are now looking for a third suspect, 19-year-old Terry Bowlin, who is described as 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighing 140 pounds.

Between March 17 and 19, a group of four men targeted Hispanic girls between the ages of 12 and 16 in southeast Fresno as they were walking home from either Roosevelt High School or nearby elementary schools, authorities say. During the five robberies, the suspects stole jewelry, purses, backpacks and cell phones. Eason and Bacerra were arrested following a traffic stop of a vehicle that matched a description provided by witnesses of the vehicle involved in the robberies.
