Miss A Court Date, Go Directly To Jail

Vacaville Police took into custody a Vacaville resident originally arrested on July 1.

Dezmon Frazier, 20, was charged with being a felon possessing a semi-automatic weapon during the course of a police investigation of an unrelated crime. Three purse snatchers were being sought, and Frazier was caught with a weapon, though he was not identified as one of the three police were looking for. Since he did not show up in court on July 22 to face that charge, a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Vacaville Police got a tip that Frazier was hiding out in a structure on Agean Way. Officers contacted the owner of that residence who let them know Frazier could be found there. Subsequently, Frazier was arrested again and offered no resistance. He was lodged in Solano County Jail. He is also awaiting sentencing for his involvement in the death of store owner Ho Kim in an assault and robbery.
