Los Angeles Laborer Busted for DUI, Parole Violations, Threats and Much More

INGLEWOOD, CA—He works hard for his money, and it appears he works even harder to give it away by getting arrested for threatening school personnel, driving while under the influence with no driver’s license, and much more.

Juan C. Martinez, 40, was apprehended by Inglewood police on Friday, May 15 at approximately 9:11 p.m. He was picked up at the corner of Florence Avenue and Fir Street in Inglewood, and charged with a number of felonies and misdemeanors.

The felonies were a parole violation (3056PC), threatening a crime with terroristic intent (422PC), threatening a school official (71PC) and promoting or committing a felony for the benefit of a gang (186.22(B)(1)PC).

The misdemeanors were a DUI for alcohol/drugs (23152(A)VC), obstructing/resisting a public officer (148(A)(1)PC), driving with a suspended license (14601.2AVC), reckless driving (23103(A)VC) and driving a vehicle without an interlock device (23247(E)VC), a violation which indicates a prior driving under the influence-related charge.

Total bail for the nine charges came out to $112,200.
