Inglewood Man Arrested for Child Porn

INGLEWOOD, CA — Pablo Mendoza, 60, was arrested on Tuesday, October 7 at or near his residence for “Evidence of Doing Business” (INMC 8-4). The “INMC” is short for “Inglewood Municipal Code,” and the code titled “Section 8-4” that Inglewood Police Department officers (IPD) claimed Mendoza violated is described as “Whenever any person shall, by use of signs, circulars, cards or any other advertising media, hold himself out as, or represent that he is, doing business in the City, then these facts may be used as evidence that such person is doing business in the City.”

It was not stated what business the resident of the 9200 block of South 7th Avenue was doing, but the three warrants from Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) may provide a clue: possession/etc. of obscene matter depicting minor in sexual act with priors (311.11(A)PC), failure to appear after written promise (853.7PC) and attempted battery (242PC).

The IPD charge got Mendoza a bail of $1,000, and the three LAPD warrants had a total bail of $195,000.
