Inglewood Burglar Bears Same Name as City’s Attorney

INGLEWOOD, CA—Irony comes in a seemingly endless array of instances, and the multiple arrests of a man whose name is the same as the attorney for the city in which he was arrested twice in 2014 is worth noting.

Kenneth Campos, 36, was arrested by Inglewood police on Wednesday, November 19 at approximately 5 a.m. along the 1000 block of South Prairie Avenue—directly across from the recently closed Hollywood Park Racetrack and one block south of the recently opened Fabulous Forum.

Campos, whose Inglewood address is said to be on the 200 block of East Ivy Avenue, was picked up for burglary (459PC). Bail was set at $20,000.

On Monday, April 7, he was arrested for two warrants. One was from Inglewood Police Department (IPD) for possession of a controlled substance (11377(A)HS) and the other was from Compton PD for failing to appear after promising to do so (853.7PC).

Bail for the possession charge was $50,000; bail for the warrant for the failure to appear was $561.

As for the Inglewood city attorney, Kenneth Campos, he did not respond to a request if there was any relation to the arrested Kenneth Campos.
