Four Men Charged with Attempted Murder

HAWTHORNE — In what is sure to be a spectacular case, four men were charged with second degree attempted murder (664/187(A)PC).

Trim Jones, Jr., 21, is a resident of Upland, California from an apartment building along Arrow Route. He is 6 feet tall and weighs 140 pounds.

Kelon Dwayne Smith, 22, is a resident of Los Angeles, California from Naomi Avenue. he is 5’8” tall and weighs 145 pounds.

Anthony Collins, 21, is a resident of Compton, California from Maie Avenue. He is 6’3” and weighs 235 pounds.

Pierre Robert Johnson, 25, is a resident of Hawthorne, California from West 104th Street. He is 6’1” and weighs 170 pounds.

Only Johnson, a construction worker, disclosed an occupation; the other three men apparently refused.

Hawthorne Police department officers arrested the four men on Saturday, July 12 at approximately 6:30 p.m. along the 13300 block of Cordary Avenue in Hawthorne, California. The residential area is near the intersection of South Prairie Avenue and West 135th Street.

The men were ultimately booked by Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department. No bail was set.
