Did Disney Cook Take a Wild Ride?

INGLEWOOD — Sometimes one’s occupation becomes a strange reality, and working at the world’s most famous amusement park can make for a bizarre ride.

Sabrina Young, 33, was arrested by Inglewood Police department officers on Tuesday, July 15 at approximately 7:40 a.m. She was arrested along the 1000 block of East Prairie Avenue in Inglewood near the recently closed Hollywood Park horse-racing track and the recently renovated Forum. The latter venue was purchased by Madison Square Garden (MSG) in New York City and has no permanent professional relationship with Disney Parks, although many Disney events are staged at MSG venues in New York.

Police charged the 5’3″-high, 185-lb Inglewood woman with a warrant for grand theft auto (487(D)PCGTA). Bail for the the self-proclaimed Disney cook was set at $26,000.

It is unknown if the automobile allegedly stolen was a real car or one taken from the Disney ride “Cars” as a publicity stunt in anticipation of the latest franchise installment, “Planes: Fire & Rescue.”
