Cosmetologist Makes a Mark

INGLEWOOD, CA—Her career concerns making faces but do you want her making this kind of mark?

Malissa Ann Wilson Sargent, 37, was picked up by Inglewood Police Department on Sunday, March 16 at approximately 11:30 p.m. near the corner of Manchester Avenue and Fir Avenue. The 6-foot-tall, 145-lb. cosmetologist was charged with a number of violations including battery on a police officer, obstructing/resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and possession of marijuana.

Perhaps the most significant charge, however, may have been the one that prompted police to stop the Los Angeles resident: urinating and/or defecating in public.

Bail for all the charges was set for the woman at $31,285 for all five charges. Of the bail amounts, the marijuana possession charge was the lowest at a pithy $35, the battery charge was the highest at $20,000 and the urinating/defecating charge was $1,000.

The next time one pops in to have one’s face done up, be sure to check for skid marks.
