A Sutter County man previously convicted of a felony has been arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of firearms.

On November 19, following up on a tip, deputies conducted a probation search at the home of 27-year-old Tou Khang, reportedly locating numerous firearms in the process.

Khang, whom authorities say has numerous prior felony convictions, is legally forbidden from owning or possessing firearms of any kind.

As such, he was arrested and booked on suspicion of felony domestic battery, felon in possession of a firearm, and violation of Post-Release Community Supervision status.
