“ABLE was following 30 illegal street racers as they sped south on CA-163. They saw a white car doing well over 100 MPH. The group made their way to Balboa Park where ABLE saw a pick-up truck flip over with people in the bed of the truck while attempting to do donuts. Those in the truck only had minor injuries.

ABLE then directed officers to the white car they saw doing over 100 MPH. The car didn’t want to stop for our emergency lights and sirens. Once the car did finally decide to stop the driver was arrested for reckless driving and evading a peace officer with disregard to public safety.

The passengers were detained during our investigation. Inside the car we found two unregistered firearms. The driver and two passengers were arrested for various firearms, reckless driving and related charges.”
