“Yesterday afternoon VSTF Officers pulled over a vehicle at the intersection of N. Main St and Rossi St for CVC violations.
K9 Oakley was deployed to conduct a sniff of the vehicle. During his sniff he alerted to 2 different locations within the vehicle.
A search of the vehicle was conducted and 2 loaded unregistered semiautomatic handguns were located.
Both the driver Fabian Moreno (19) and the passenger Max Tatro (20), who are both active norteno gang members, were taken into custody.
During a search of their person both males also had cocaine in their pockets. Moreno and Tatro were lodged at Monterey County Jail for numerous gang, drug, and firearm charges.”
