Traffic Stop Leads to 34 Grams of Meth Off Chowchilla Streets

32-year old Michael Jimenez was arrested on October 6, 2020 after a traffic stop on the 1500 block of Roosevelt in Chowchilla. Jimenez, a current CDCR parolee, was found in possession of 34 grams of methamphetamine.

Allowed via the terms and conditions of his parole, officers searched his residence and found two loaded AR15 magazines and a non-California compliant assault rifle. Reported stolen from the city of Firebaugh, a Honda motorcycle was located on the premises, as well as a “Gator” side by side, reported stolen from Madera County.

Jimenez was arrested for transportation/sale of drugs, receiving stolen property, person prohibited from possessing firearm/ammunition, and violating his parole. As of the time of this writing, he remains in custody at the Madera County Department of Corrections.
