Susanville Police K-9 reportedly finds drugs during traffic stop

“On Saturday October 3, 2020 at approximately 2315 hours, officers from the Susanville Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of Russell Avenue for a traffic violation. During the traffic stop K-9 Zeke was utilized and made a positive alert on the vehicle. The vehicle was subsequently searched and resulted in 27.9 grams of methamphetamine being located and other evidence indicative of drug sales.

Shawn David Moyer, age 40 of Susanville, was arrested for possession of controlled substances for sale. Moyer was booked into the Lassen County Jail and is being held on $20,000 bond.

On Sunday October 4, 2020 at approximately 0745 hours, officers conducted a search warrant of Moyer’s residence and located additional evidence of drug sales.”
