Two Subjects Shot At Twin Oaks Village

On August 20 the Clearlake Police Department issued this press release on Facebook-

“Officers are on scene investigating a shooting at Twin Oaks Village located at 5755 Old Highway 53.

At approximately 9:11 pm, officers responded to a report of shots fired at the location. Upon their arrival they located numerous subjects. Two subjects were suffering from gunshot wounds.

While attempting to detain persons involved, one subject ran but was quickly detained by another officer.

Detectives responded to the scene along with investigators from the Lake County District Attorney’s Office. They are processing the scene and interviewing subjects as of the time of this writing. The gunshot victims were treated at a local hospital pending being flown out.
