A large party on July 25 carried on into the early hours of Sunday July 26th, during which time a man was shot.
Deputies came to the house in the 6100 block of Coil Court, where a 22-year-old male was suffering from “at least one gunshot wound.”
The victim was taken to a hospital and died two days later.
two arrested suspects
A little over a week later the Sacramento County Sheriff’s office announced the arrest of two suspects in the crime.
19-year-old Joshua Martinez and 18-year-old Elias Higgins were “booked on charges related to this investigation.”
Another suspect, 19-year-old Darren Sucier-Crocket remains at large with an outstanding warrant for murder.
