Woman arrested for attempted murder in stabbing

The Watsonville Police Department arrested a woman who stabbed another woman “multiple times” and charged her with attempted murder in this story posted on Facebook-

“A $250,000 bail has been set for an attempted murder suspect accused of stabbing a 31-year-old woman multiple times.

Patrol officers have worked on this case for the past two nights and were able to get the suspect identified as 41-year-old Dalilah Yasin. Detectives arrested the Watsonville native this afternoon during a car stop on W Beach St. after she was seen leaving her home.

The stabbing occurred Sunday night in the area of Lynbrook Ct. and Vic Rugh Ln. The victim was taken to a trauma center for treatment and has since been released.

The suspect was booked into the Santa Cruz County Jail on attempted murder charges.
