Ukiah man accused of brutalizing girlfriend, 7-year-old child

A Ukiah man has been arrested on suspicion of domestic violence against his girlfriend and a 7-year-old child.

On the night of July 11th, deputies responded to a domestic violence call on the 100 block of Lover’s Lane. Upon arrival, concerned citizens directed them to a 28-year-old woman whose injuries were visibly consistent with the initial report.

She told deputies she’d been assaulted both physically and sexually by her live-in boyfriend, 32-year-old Antonio Willie Becerra Jr., and that a 7-year-old child was still in the apartment with him.

Deputies were fortunately able to make contact with the child and retrieve her from the apartment. The Sheriff’s Department has not specified the exact relationship between the her, the victim, and the suspect.

Becerra Jr. was then arrested without further incident and booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant, sexual penetration with a foreign object, inflicting corporal injury on a child, and other charges.

He remains at the Mendocino County Jail on $450,000 bond.
